In most cases only minimally (0.3–0.7 mm). With no-prep veneers, no preparation is needed in suitable cases.

How long do veneers last?

With good care and regular check-ups, ceramic veneers are very long-lasting. Individual factors apply.

Is the treatment painful?

Preparation is done under local anaesthesia. Most patients experience the treatment as relaxed.

What does a veneer cost?

The price of a ceramic veneer depends on the complexity, material and number of teeth. The binding amount is provided in the treatment and cost plan.

Does insurance cover veneers?

Veneers in Austria are usually aesthetic services and therefore a private fee. In rare exceptional cases (e.g. severe wear), supplementary insurance may contribute.

Isn't whitening better than veneers?

For concerns about colour only, whitening is often the first choice. For shape, alignment or substance issues, veneers may be more suitable. We will clarify what fits your concern during the consultation.
