We process personal data exclusively on the basis of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG) and complementary federal regulations.

This privacy policy informs you in accordance with Art. 13 GDPR which personal data we collect, for what purpose we process it and which rights you have.

When you access our website, technical data is stored temporarily in server log files: IP address, date and time of the request, the resource accessed, the referrer URL, the user-agent and the HTTP status code.

Purpose: ensuring stable operation, IT security and abuse detection. Legal basis: legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Retention: usually no longer than 30 days.

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Vercel.

Any transfer of personal data to the USA is based on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) of the European Commission and - where applicable - the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (EU Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023).

If you contact us via the request form, by phone or by email, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, phone number, optionally email, request, preferred call-back time) for the purpose of handling your enquiry and arranging an appointment.

Legal basis: your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and pre-contractual measures under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Retention: we store your requests until completion and afterwards in line with statutory retention obligations (in particular § 132 BAO and the medical documentation duties under § 51 ZÄG).

Requests submitted through the online form are forwarded to a private Telegram chat of the practice for internal handling. Provider: Telegram FZ-LLC, Avenue al Galaxy Bldg, Suite 1101, Dubai Media City, United Arab Emirates, and Telegram Messenger Inc. (USA).

Data transferred: the fields entered in the form (name, phone number, optionally email, request, call-back time) and technical attribution data (e.g. source, campaign).

Legal basis: your explicit consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Transfers to third countries (UAE, USA) take place on the basis of Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR (explicit consent); no adequacy decision is currently in place for these third countries.

We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations.

Web-form requests: until the matter is closed, at the latest 12 months after the last contact - unless contractual or tax retention obligations apply (§ 132 BAO: 7 years).

Patient documentation: at least 10 years per § 51 ZÄG.

At any time you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You can withdraw a consent for the future at any time (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
